Create and Connect Support Group

Facilitated by Kelly Gupta Holley, ATR, LPC-MHSP

This group is offered at $5 per group to members of the Collective

This group is for members of Therapy for

Therapists Collective who:

  • enjoy making art or want to reconnect with their creativity

  • want to try using art-making as a new form of self-care and mindfulness

  • could use a space to connect with other therapists

  • want to talk about the challenges and amazing parts of being a therapist

This group currently meets once a month

Couples Therapy Consultation Group

Facilitated by Lorelei Hammond, LCSW

This group will be a closed group, so please plan on attending all groups if you register.

Let’s face it – couples counseling is different than working with individuals! Join us for a small consultation group (6 clinicians), where we will have the option of presenting cases, role playing, receiving immediate feedback, discussing a developmental model of couples counseling, and supporting each other as we explore specific areas of interest with regard to treating couples.

This is a closed group, but is currently open for sign ups

Burnout Peer Support Group

Facilitated by Victoria Gore, LMAC

Victoria Gore, owner of Holistic Recovery Services, is a TFTC member who wants to help other therapists through burnout. Come join and discuss strategies for finding peace.

Thriving in Private Practice Peer Support Group

Facilitated by Victoria Gore, LMAC

Victoria Gore, owner of Holistic Recovery Services, is a TFTC member who wants to support other therapists in private practice. Join her to discuss all things related to private practice, practice including where and how to get support for yourself, website development, thoughts on niching, where to find CEU’s, virtual assistants, managing billing and expanding into passive income streams!

Therapists in Waiting

Facilitated by Shelly LPC, LCDC who is based in Texas with a passion for supporting other mental health providers. Shelly's background includes specialities in trauma, substance use, and supporting mental health providers in group and individual settings.

This group is intended for individuals currently waiting to be matched with therapists. Group topics will be fluid to the current needs of group members, but will include addressing burnout, secondary trauma, and other difficulties often associated with being a mental health provider. Together we will explore barriers to managing our own mental health while also encouraging unique ways to increase personal self-care.

This group currently has two options, Group A and B, where each meets every other Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm EST

Grief & Loss: Mine, Yours & Theirs

Facilitated by Elizabeth Hinkle, a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed in Virginia, Kansas, and Washington, and has a telehealth private practice, MH Matters, LLC. Elizabeth sees individual clients of all ages as well as couples. She uses a systemic perspective, blending training as a marriage & family therapist with IFS, DBT, EMDR, EFCT, and Gottman theory. She has over 30 years as a group facilitator.

If you’re a therapist and a human on this planet, you’re dealing with grief and loss. There’s no way around it except through it! In this group, we will discuss coping with our own grief and loss as therapists while supporting clients experiencing grief and loss. Join for support and to explore themes around Self as a Therapist.

This group currently meets every other Wednesday from 6-7pm EST

If you’re passionate about social justice issues, reducing burnout, and supporting other therapists this volunteer position may be for you! You'll have the opportunity to guide meaningful discussions, offer support, and create a safe space for growth and exploration amongst therapists. Join us in building a community where individuals can thrive together.
