Kathy Acosta, LCSW
Program Development Coordinator
Kathy Acosta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, group practice owner, and business coach based in New Jersey. As a first-generation Latina, she is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring these principles are at the core of her practice and coaching. Kathy brings over a decade of experience in program development across a variety of organizational settings, including non-profits, for-profits, and both small and large organizations.
Driven by her commitment to improving access to quality mental health care and addressing equity and justice within the field, Kathy actively supports fellow mental health professionals in achieving work-life balance and protecting against burnout. Her decision to join the Therapy for Therapists Collective stems from her strong belief in the organization’s mission to combat burnout and support mental health professionals nationwide.

Reham Bader, MSW
Peer Support Group Program Manager
Reham Bader is the Director of Community Health and Wellbeing for a nonprofit organization in New York City, where she spearheads a range of programs aimed at improving the physical, mental, and social well-being of diverse communities. With a deep commitment to social justice and trauma-informed care, Reham has extensive experience working with victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, helping to foster healing and empowerment.
In addition to her leadership role, she serves as the co-chair of the National Social Work Management Network NY Chapter, advocating for progressive policies and effective leadership in social work. Reham also contributes to the Family Science and Human Development Student Justice Advisory Board as a Community Liaison, where she works to promote equity and justice within educational settings.
As an adjunct professor at Montclair State University, Reham shares her knowledge and passion with both undergraduate and graduate students in social work, preparing the next generation of social workers for meaningful careers. Known for her fundraising expertise, she frequently leads initiatives to plan and execute nonprofit galas, driving support for critical community programs.
Shelly O’Donnell, MA, LPC, LCDC
Member Support Coordinator
Shelly O’Donnell is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor based in Austin, TX and licensed in both Texas and Colorado. Shelly’s core values include justice and love, which translate to both her personal and professional relationships. She believes approaching all situations from an equity-based, compassionate mindset.
Shelly has worked in a myriad of settings, including inpatient, IOP, OP, non-profits, community, and private practice. Shelly’s favorite roles have provided opportunities for her to serve her community and empower others. As a formerly burnt-out therapist, Shelly’s most recent work in private practice left her longing for the ability to provide support to other clinicians navigating the mental health field. She believes life’s beauty is often found in the still, small, quiet moments. She also believes that noticing these moments requires intentionality and a healthy life balance. Shelly finds joy in caring for the caretaker, supporting boundaries, and focusing on living within healthy personal relationships. It is for these reasons that Shelly is excited to join TFTC and continue the mission of the organization.
Emily Oliver, LCSW
Founder and Director
Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, therapist, group practice owner, and a mom. As a neurodivergent clinician focused in treating trauma, and a trauma survivor, Emily is a strong advocate for the importance of work life balance and taking steps to protect against burnout. She is passionate about improving access to quality mental health care for all, and tackling issues of equity and justice within the mental health field. Emily is also the author of the ADHD & Autism Unmasking Workbook and is an active advocate for the importance of neurodiversity-affirming and competent care. She completed her Masters degree in Social Work from Binghamton University.
Emily launched the Therapy for Therapists Collective in July 2021.
